"The sign of a great state or a great city is the strength of its cultural life,"
- J. Clayton Hering

Cour Design is a firm located in Nashville, TN that specializes in the design and execution of spectacular visual shows that stimulate the mind. They have worked on projects such as tour design for Billie Eilish, drive through immersive events like EAMOTION, and now are shifting focus to a new form of experiential design.

The immersive digital art scene is ramping up in popularity across the country and the world. The traditional museum is evolving into more dramatic and interactive pieces that people of all ages and backgrounds can experience together. With this, Cour has designed a series of immersive art installations that you can experience while also supporting a good cause.

With the advent of the COVID19 virus, everything in the experiential world has completely stopped. Music venues are at the forefront of the most impacted with only hope to keep the lights on. Our concept is meant to be a way to experience art once again, support live music venues, and do it all safely. Our proposed plan is to partner with music venues in select cities, setup our immersive art installation in the space, and charge “suggested donations” to customers. The venues receive all of the donations from the customers, a sponsor covers the expenses to Cour to design and operate the installation, and the sponsor gets the exposure and goodwill of supporting two great businesses.

Our first installation is a tall silo of light with thousands of pixels dancing to a beat. Lasers sweep through hazy air and viewers are in circular pods around the 10 minute experience that is driven by An original musical composition. Viewers can grab a drink at the bar while watching, then head out to the venue’s patio to finish their drinks. Timed entry allows for low wait times and limited exposure to groups during the pandemic.

These types of works are meant to inspire, awe and change us. These types of works have no limits and can change and evolve over time. The art museum scene is a check on the pulse of a city's thriving art scene, and this sets the tone for what is possible in a city. Bringing this type of event to the southern region of the US has not been wildly experimented with, and now is the time to execute. This very well might even be the first installation of this type in nashville, and definitely is a new idea for the southern region.

Join us on a journey to bring inspiration and joy to our communities while supporting the venues and spaces that we all adore.
